HMD Global the Finnish upstart has released its latest phone in India, the Nokia 6.1 Plus. The phone had firstly debuted in China with the name of Nokia X6. However, it has been rebranded in India as the Nokia 6.1 Plus. The phone had also been the victim of a lot of rumours, speculations and leaks. Under the hood, the Nokia 6.1 Plus packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset which clocks a frequency of 1.8GHz. Pair this with 4GB of RAM in the phone; the Nokia 6.1 Plus does not fail to disappoint by ensuring that the device performs decently on all fronts. The Adreno 509 GPU accompanies the chipset for graphics and helps the gamers in getting good refresh rates and overall smooth performance.

Nokia has fitted the phone with a decently powered 3060mAh battery which also comes with QuickCharge 3.0 and 18W adapter in the box. Nokia claims that this tech will charge the phone in 30 minutes.

The Nokia 6.1 Plus has been made out of an aluminium frame body with Corning Gorilla Glass on both front and back. There will only be a single variant of the phone with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. There is also the option of inserting a microSD card using a hybrid SIM card slot. The processor on this phone is a Snapdragon 636 with 4GB of RAM.

For the camera, the smartphone sports a dual rear setup of 16MP + 5MP, where the 16MP shooter is an RGB sensor with f/2.0 aperture and the secondary 5MP monochrome sensor comes with f/2.2 aperture. There is a 16MP snapper on the front which comes with 1.0um pixel size and a f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling. On the rear, you will find a fingerprint sensor, and there is also the face unlock capability on this phone. The connectivity options on the Nokia 6.1 Plus include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band, Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Dual 4G VoLTE, FM radio, and a USB Type-C port. The dimensions measure up to 147.2 x 70.98 x 8.59mm, and the handset weighs 151 grams.

You will be able to get your hands on the Nokia 6.1 Plus at the price of Rs 15,999. As of now, the phone is up for pre-order on Flipkart and Nokia official site where it will start selling on August 30.
