Motorola is among those few brands which have started rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow to its devices. The Lenovo-backed smartphone manufacturer has rolled it out for the Moto X (2nd Gen), the Moto X Style, and the Moto G (3rd Gen) in India. Now, the company has started rolling out the latest version of Android to the Motorola Moto G Turbo Edition in India.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow brings new features to the device including App Permissions, battery-optimising Doze feature, smoother performance, and improved security. Another important feature is Google Now On Top, which gives you relevant information from whatever app or webpage you are using.
App Links is yet another new feature in Android 6.0, which lets you set a desired action when you click on web links. The OTA update is 445MB in size, and also includes December security update. The company has also added the Motorola Moto (2nd Gen) to the list of devices getting the update.
