UPDATED: Motorola Moto E specifications leaked, might be a slimmer version of the Moto G

It looks like Motorola is looking to replicate its success of Moto G in the low-end price range with the upcoming Moto E. The specifications of the Moto E have been leaked in Mexico and from the looks of it, the Moto E will be priced similarly to the Moto G.

  • 4.3 inch touchscreen, 1280 x 720 pixels (expected)
  • 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, 1GB RAM, 4GB ROM, microSD card slot (expected)
  • 5MP primary camera, front-facing secondary camera (probably 1.3MP)
  • Android v4.4 KitKat
  • dual-SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth, FM Radio
  • 124.8 x 64.8 x 6.2mm

The device will be much thinner than both Moto G and the Moto X at 6.2mm which fuels the speculation that it could be a stylish version of the Moto G. The Moto E is expected to be announced in the next couple of weeks in Mexico with a model number XT1021. As per said specifications, it would compete with the upcoming smartphones like the Nokia Lumia 630 dual SIM and the Sony Xperia M2 Dual and the Micromax Canvas HD.
