Expanding its Smart TV lineup in India, Lenovo-owned Motorola today announced a 75-inch Android TV. Priced at Rs 1,19,999, the 75-inch Motorola TV runs the latest Android 9 Pie and offers HDR10-enabled screen. To recall, Motorola already announced five Smart TVs in India last month in various screen sizes and the new 75-inch Smart TV becomes the sixth addition to the fast-growing lineup. The new Smart TV from Motorola is already available for purchase via Flipkart. Other highlights of the 75-inch Motorola Smart TV include Dolby Vision, voice-enabled remote and support for the wireless game controller which comes bundled inside the massive retail box. There are not many large screen TVs available in the Indian market and that too in the price range of under Rs 1,75,000, so the Motorola TV will make up for a good purchase.

Motorola 75-inch 4k Android TV: Specifications and Features

Motorola impressed one and all last month by pricing its first Android TVs affordably and taking on Xiaomi at the same time. Motorola's 43-inch 4K TV was priced at just Rs 29,999 and the 50-inch model retailed for Rs 33,999. These are surprising prices from the company. However, Xiaomi countered right away by launching a 43-inch 4K TV at just Rs 24,999, killing the likes of Motorola, Vu, Kodak and TCL.

Not many TV brands are providing 75-inch models to the customers, except for the Tier-I brands like Sony, Samsung, among others. Motorola's 75-inch 4K TV offers a resolution of UHD (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) with 178-degrees viewing angles and 16:9 aspect ratio. The display also gets 450 nits bright at peak levels. Furthermore, there's support for Dolby Vision, local dimming, HDR 10 and AutoTuneX display technology to enhance the overall viewing experience. Sadly, it's not a QLED panel like the one present on OnePlus Q1 series.

As for the hardware specs, the newly launched 75-inch Motorola TV has quad-core CA53 processor with all the cores clocked at 1GHz. Motorola confirmed that the TV has Mali-450 GPU, 2.25GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which will come as an upgrade to 8GB of storage we saw on several Smart TVs releasing these days.

As mentioned above, Motorola will bundle a Game Controller inside the retail box and it connects to the TV via Bluetooth. The TV runs Android TV 9 Pie OS with pre-installed OTT apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hotstar, ZEE5 and so on. The remote offers voice control and it does not feature any minimalistic design as the company even included all the numeric keys as well.

Motorola 75-inch 4k Android TV: Pricing in India

Other Smart TVs from Motorola are available at affordable prices, but the 75-inch model is priced on the higher side. The 75-inch Motorola Smart TV will retail at Rs 1,19,999 and it's already up for sale via Flipkart. According to the information available, Motorola will be selling only limited units of the TV during the first sale and the availability will be improved in the coming weeks and months. Since Flipkart is currently running its Diwali sale, all the offers that are available are also applicable to the Motorola 75-inch TV, so you can grab some discounts while purchasing the TV from the e-commerce platform.
