Motorola Moto E6S will be launching in India on September 16, according to the media invites sent by the Lenovo-owned brand. The Moto E6S could be the Moto E6 Plus smartphone that was launched alongside the Motorola One Zoom a few days ago at the IFA 2019 event in Berlin. Additionally, e-commerce portal Flipkart has confirmed that the Moto E6S will be exclusive to the online store and it will come with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone will also offer 64GB of onboard storage and dual rear cameras of 13MP and 2MP. The back image of the Moto E6S also confirms a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner sitting inside the Moto dimple. Right now, we don't know other hardware details of this Motorola smartphone, but traditionally, Moto E series takes on the Xiaomi's Redmi lineup of phones, and now, it will compete against the Redmi 7.

Moto E5S Launching in India on September 16: What to Expect?

It seems like every smartphone brand in the country is looking to drive sales during the upcoming festive season. Smartphone brands like Realme, Motorola, Oppo and Vivo are launching phones within quick succession. At the end of August, Motorola brought the One Action smartphone to India priced at Rs 13,990. And now, it's bringing the budget or entry-level Moto E6S to the country.

Going by the teaser page on Flipkart, the Moto E6S will feature a 6.1-inch MaxVision HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and waterdrop notch that houses the selfie camera. On the rear side, the phone will have dual cameras of 13MP primary sensor and 2MP secondary depth sensor. There will be a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner as well.

The Moto E5S will also pack 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The company is teasing the smartphone with #AbNoCompromise tagline, hinting at the features at an affordable price point.

The teased specifications of the Moto E6S match with those of the Moto E6 Plus that was launched just a few days ago at the IFA 2019. The Moto E6 Plus comes in two variants- 2GB+16GB and 4GB+64GB and the company may bring both of them to the country. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 chipset and a 3000mAh battery backs the handset.

Lenovo Re-Entered the Indian Market With Three Phones

In other news, Motorola's parent company, Lenovo recently launched three smartphones in the Indian market across different price brackets. The Lenovo A6 Note is priced at Rs 7,999, the Lenovo K10 Note costs Rs 13,999 and the Lenovo Z6 Pro costs Rs 33,999 for the only variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

It seems like Lenovo wants to rejuvenate its name in the Indian market by launching new models in the country. However, it's not that easy right now as Realme and Xiaomi are launching new phones every month to stay ahead of the competition.
