Micromax Infinity N11, N12 Budget Smartphones Launched in India With Additional Data Offer from Jio

Micromax is back in the smartphone business after a long rest. The homegrown smartphone company has launched two smartphones in India, namely, Micromax Infinity N12 and Infinity N11. These are the first smartphones by the company to come with the notched display where the notch includes selfie cameras, earpiece, and some sensors. Compared to the previous generation Micromax phones, the new ones come with a glossy finish back cover with dual rear camera system below which will be the fingerprint sensor which will let users unlock the phone with just a finger touch. Furthermore, Micromax has teamed up with telecom operator Reliance Jio and offering additional 50GB data on recharges of Rs 198 and Rs 299.

Micromax Infinity N12: Specifications and Features

The Micromax Infinity N12 comes packed with a big 6.2-inch HD+ display paired with an aspect ratio of 18.9:9 and not 19:9 like most recently launched phones these days. As far as the hardware setup is concerned, the Micromax N12 is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be expandable up to 160GB via microSD card. On the camera front, the Micromax phone packs a dual camera system on the back side and single of the front. As for the specs, the phone includes a primary sensor of a 13MP and secondary sensor of 5MP, which is basically a wide angle lens. On the front, this Micromax phone comes with a 16MP selfie camera. On the software front, the N12 runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. The phone is backed by a 4000 mAh battery.

Micromax Infinity N11: Specifications and Features

Most of the specs of the Micromax Infinity N11 is the same as the N12, but there are some differences here and there. As far as the specs are concerned, the N11 comes packed with the same screen as the N12. This means it includes a 6.2-inch display with an aspect ratio of 18.9:9. On the hardware front, the phone is powered by 2.0GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is expandable by up to 160GB via microSD card. The rear camera of the N11 is the same the N12, but the selfie camera is different. On the front, the Micromax N11 includes an 8MP selfie shooter. The phone just like N12 runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box and is backed by a 4000mAh battery. Micromax also promises Android 9 Pie update within 45 days from now.

Micromax Infinity N12 and N11: Pricing and Availability

Both the Micromax Infinity N12 and Infinity N11 come in one RAM and storage variant only. As far as the pricing of the two phones is concerned, the Infinity N12 has been launched for a price tag of Rs 9,999, while the Infinity N11 will retail at a slightly lower price of Rs 8,999. Both the Micromax Infinity N12 and Infinity N11 phones will be available across 60,000 Micromax retail stores in India beginning December 26. The smartphones will also be available via online channels.

As a part of the launch offer, Micromax has partnered with Reliance Jio to offer cashback of Rs 2,200 together with 50GB free data. This offer is applicable to all Reliance Jio users who recharge their mobile numbers with either Rs 198 or Rs 299 plan.
