LG has finally launched the LG Q6+ smartphone in the Indian market. The Q6+ is a slightly beefed up variant of the LG Q6 with more RAM and storage. The LG Q6 is the first smartphone in India to offer FullVision 18:9 display. To recall, LG launched the LG Q6 in India last month for Rs. 14,999, which is a sensible pricing for the smartphone.

Unlike the LG Q6, which is an online-only model, the Q6+ is an offline exclusive model. The smartphone recently went on for pre-ordering in the country. Customers who've pre-booked the Q6+ will get an LG Bluetooth speaker worth Rs. 2,990 for free. Customers who're now interested in getting the LG Q6+ can now head over to a nearest retail store and purchase it for Rs. 17,990.

LG launched the Q6+ in two colour options- Astro Black and Ice Platinum. The Q6+ offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, up from 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage seen on the LG Q6. This is the only difference seen between the LG Q6 and Q6+. Rest of the specifications are similar to the LG Q6.

The smartphone offers a 5.5-inch FullVision 18:9 display, which is the highlight feature of the device. The device is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC and comes with a metal unibody design. The Q6+ also gone through the military-grade MIL-STD 810G test and provides additional durability.

The only letdown with the smartphone is the lack of fingerprint scanner, but LG says that its face recognition technology in the smartphone offers equal security in the smartphone. The LG Q6+ comes with a single 13MP camera at the back, and also houses a 5MP front-facing camera with a wide-angle field of view up front for selfies and video calls.

The handset sips juice from a 3,000mAh battery inside. On the software front, the device runs on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box with LG UX 6.0 skin on top and comes with connectivity options like 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
