Lenovo is on the verge of launching a new phone – the Lenovo Z5. On the Chinese social media platform, Weibo, the company executive posted a teaser image of the phone. The teaser image reveals some striking highlights of the new phone like glass on front and back panel, dual rear camera setup, metallic frame and a vertically oriented camera sensor. The Lenovo Z5 has also been a victim of a small leak which showed an image in which the smartphone had a curved back. Also, the device is speculated to come with an aurora hue like we get to see on one of the variants of the Huawei P20 Pro.
The device has planted many expectations in the heads of people, in regards to design and specifications. Also, Lenovo’s teaser and launch invitation can be taken as a sign that the device is being packed with impressive features.
The main highlight of the phone is going to be the insanely high screen-to-body ratio which might also be the highest that the industry has seen up till now. Chang Cheng, CEO of Lenovo also teased the renders of the phone which reveal that the Lenovo Z5 comes with a very modern design featuring almost no bezels on all sides, with a chin that’s marginally bigger than the side bezels. The screen to body ratio is being said to be 95% on the Lenovo Z5.
With a popular teaser following the leaked images of the phone, there are many speculations surrounding the phone. Some people are saying that the phone might come with a popup front camera like the Vivo APEX phone, while others are speculating that the phone might feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone has also been expected to sport the Snapdragon 845 SoC. A mysterious Lenovo phone also spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 660 chipset and it’s also believed to be one of the various of the Z5.
One of the stunning feats which the Lenovo Z5 will achieve is the huge storage space of 4TB, which has also been hinted by Lenovo CEO, Chang Cheng. Besides this, the phone has been touted to capture very impressive portrait shots, thanks to the AI-powered dual camera setup.
The battery on this device is also going to be very impressive as the CEO had previously teased. He said that the phone would offer a standby time of 45 days and even when the phone battery drains down to 0% users will be able to use the phone for 30 minutes more.
Now that there have been enough rumours, speculations and leak about the Lenovo Z5. It’s high time that the company launch its phone. We will get the full specs-sheet once the phone gets launched on June 5.
