Reliance Jio launched the second generation JioPhone, the JioPhone 2 on August 15 and it sold out entirely in its last flash sale. As you’d believe, many buyers were left waiting for the phone, but sadly couldn’t get their hands on the device. The last time when the sale happened on August 16 at noon, the purchasers of JioPhone 2 were greeted with a message saying ‘page under maintenance’ when the JioPhone 2 ran out of stock. However, now Reliance Jio has announced that it would be conducting the second flash sale of JioPhone 2 on August 30 at the same time at noon. How to Place Order for JioPhone 2

It is worth noting that JioPhone’s 2 cost is Rs 2,999 and Jio will be charging a Rs 99 delivery charge for shipping the phone to your doorstep, therefore making the total cost Rs 3,098. To purchase the phone, interested buyers will have to head over to the company’s official website – www.jio.com, ahead of time. After you’ve logged into the site before the sale starts you will need to enter your pin code to check whether or not the device will be deliverable in your city. If yes, then you will have to proceed to enter your contact details like name, email, phone number and the shipping address. Finally, you will be required to check out while making the payment of Rs 3,098.

Once the order of the phone is successfully placed, JioPhone 2 will be delivered to you in 5 to 7 days. You will also be eligible to get a new Reliance Jio SIM card which you can get activated at your nearest Jio retail outlet. Further, in the second SIM slot users will be able to use any SIM from other operators like Airtel, Vodafone, BSNL or Idea.

JioPhone 2 Specifications

The JioPhone 2 sports a 2.4-inch QVGA display with 320 x 240 pixels resolution and comes with cat.4 LTE support for download speeds of 150Mbps on both LTE (Band 3,5,40) and 2G (900/1800). The RAM on this phone is 512MB, and it comes paired with 4GB of storage expandable up to128GB via microSD card.

The phone runs on KaiOS and also offers Bluetooth, FM radio, Wi-Fi, VoWi-Fi, GPS, and NFC. There is also a voice assistant, 2MP rear camera and a 0.3MP front camera with support for video recording and video calling.
