Jabra Expands its Earphone Line-Up in India by Launching Elite 65e and Elite Active 65t

After launching the Elite 45e, Jabra has announced the launch of its new Bluetooth earphone headsets the Elite 65e and the Elite Active 65t. The earphones will come at the price point of Rs 16,999 and the Elite Active 65t with a somewhat less price tag of Rs 14,999. The striking feature of these earphones is the one-touch support for voice Assistants like Google Assistant, Siri and Alexa. The headphones will be up for sale starting June 22 online on Amazon India and Croma, and offline on Jabra authorised retailers. The new addition in the list of features is the HearThrough functionality which will filter out ambient noise in the earphones.

The Jabra Elite 65e sports a neckband-style and comes with two levels of active noise cancellation paired with three microphones that enable wind noise filtering. Also, the headphone comes with an IP54 rating meaning that the device is water and dust resistant. It also ships with a two-year limited warranty against water and dust.

Talking about the battery life, the headphones have been claimed to deliver a battery life of 8 hours with the noise cancellation enabled and 13 hours with the feature turned off. The headset comes with 15mm dynamic drivers and a frequency range of 20Hz to 20KHz.

The next debut by the company, the Jabra Elite Active 65t, as the name suggests has been aimed at people with an active lifestyle. For truly outdoor use, the headphones come with the IP56 rating, making it dust and water resistant. Similar to the Elite 65e this one also comes with a two-year limited warranty against water and dust. The battery life has been claimed to be 5 hours on a single charge. However, the wireless case which comes with earphones provide an additional 10 hours of use.

The Elite Active 65t also makes use of the similar technology for noise reduction and wind noise reduction using four microphones. The accelerometer helps in recording fitness related data and monitoring. Users can install the Jabra Sound+ App which will let them view statistics like steps taken etc. The app also comes with an equaliser which will let them tweak the sound according to their needs.

During the launch of these two earphones, the company also showcased their entire range of headsets which includes - Elite 25e, Elite 45e, and Elite 65t which are already selling in India. As for the prices of these previous launches, the Elite 25e and Elite 45e are neckband-style wireless earphones which cost Rs 4,299 and Rs 7,499 respectively. The Elite 65t is truly wireless and retails at the cost of Rs 13,499.
