Finally iOS users can use Whatsapp on the Web now, well that’s something that Android users have been enjoying since January. Whatsapp has finally rolled out the coveted feature to iOS users. Sigh.

Whatsapp Web iOSFor all those who are wondering why a “web interface” requires connecting to your smartphone to send and receive text. The reason behind it is that all the web messages are not stored at any centralized location, they are just saved on your phone, and hence the web interface would require connecting with the Whatsapp app on your smartphone in order to retrieve them.

Until now iOS users were deprived of the Web Whatsapp feature, but today Whatsapp made the feature available for them too. As one can see in the image above, iPhone support has been included to Whatsapp Web. Let us tell you how to go about it, firstly, you got to update your Whatsapp and then you will find the “Whatsapp Web” option in the settings menu (in case there is no update available then also check the setting option). If you find the new option there, then head over to web.whatsapp.com on your computer and follow the instructions given there for pairing your device (scanning the QR code).

The feature is still under its rollout phase, so if you don’t see it on your device then wait for a while, it will eventually be rolled out to your phone. The good news is that it is on its way!
