Apple iPhone 12 Pro Models Discontinued

As per reports, the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max models have been taken down from the official Apple website soon after the announcement of the iPhone 13 series. A report by MacRumors pointed out the removal of these models from the Apple website.

This is not surprising as the company has already made a similar move in the past. Last year, when Apple announced the iPhone 12 series smartphones, it replaced the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max models with the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max respectively. Now, with the latest generation models, these models stand discontinued.

While the iPhone 12 Pro models have been discontinued from the Apple website, these are still listed on the e-commerce portals such as Flipkart and Amazon among others until stocks last. As a result, only the iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 11, and iPhone SE are available on the Apple website.

iPhone 12 Price Cut

Furthermore, Apple slashed the cost of the iPhone 12 series in the global markets. Going by the same, the iPhone 12 64GB variant is priced at Rs 65,900 instead of Rs 79,900. Also, the 128GB variant of the iPhone 12 is priced at Rs 70,900 instead of its earlier pricing of Rs 84,900. Likewise, the iPhone 12 256GB variant is priced at Rs 80,900.

For the uninitiated, the iPhone 13 series has been launched starting from Rs 69,900 for the base variant of the iPhone 13 mini. The release date of these models in India will be announced soon.
