Intex has added another affordable smartphone to its product portfolio with the launch of Intex Cloud String HD. Priced at Rs. 5,599, the handset will be sold exclusively via Flipkart.

On the specifications front, the Intex Cloud String HD boasts of a 5-inch HD on-cell 2.5D curved glass display with 720x1280 pixels resolution. Powering the smartphone is a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832A processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. There is an 8GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop).

In terms of camera, the smartphone comes equipped with an 8MP rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5MP front-snapper for clicking selfie. The device also incorporates a fingerprint sensor and offers dual-SIM, 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options. The handset is backed by a 2,200 mAh battery. It will be available only in two Black and White color variants.
