Huawei unveils four affordable smartphones in India, starting at Rs. 5,499

Huawei has announced a pocket-friendly series of smartphones and initially, the company has unveiled four smartphones under the series. These four new smartphones are — Huawei Y336, Huawei Y541, Huawei Y625 and Huawei G620S.

The series is differentiated by G and Y initials and will be available offline only. The aforementioned newly launched devices will retail between the price range of Rs 5,499 to Rs 9,499.




Huawei Y336Huawei Y336 (in the image above) comes with a 4-inch display, 5-megapixel rear camera along with a 2 megapixel front camera with a dual LED flash. There is 512MB of RAM and 4GB of expandable internal storage on-board. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat and is backed by a 1730mAh battery. It is priced at Rs 5,499.

Huawei Y541On the other hand, the Huawei Y541 (in the image above) features a 4.5-inch display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat-based and has 8GB internal storage. This dual SIM device will be available for Rs 6,499.

Huawei Y625The Huawei Y625 (in the image above) comes with 5-inch of display and runs Android 4.4 KitKat. It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel front camera. The device is powered by a 1.2GHz quad core processor and is backed by a 2000mAh battery. It will be available for Rs 8,499.

Huawei G620SNow, talking about the Huawei G620S, it features a 5-inch display and supports 4G LTE. It comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad core processor and is backed by a 2000mAh battery. The Huawei G620S will be retailing at Rs 9,499.

Commenting at the launch, P. Sanjeev, director sales, Huawei Telecommunications India, said, “To reach out to our consumers in key markets, Huawei range would be available through a strong distribution network in offline retail beginning with a 1,000 stores roll out in the next 4-8 weeks. For the brand new series, we will be strengthening our presence with traditional multi-brand retailers and by partnering with top modern trade players such as Croma, Reliance Digital, Sangeetha Retail and The Mobile Store in key cities like Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai amongst others,” he said.
