Huawei P20 Lite and P20 Pro are Coming to India as Amazon Exclusives

Huawei, earlier this week confirmed that it's going to launch the Huawei P20 devices in India on April 24. Now, Amazon India has confirmed that Huawei is bringing the flagship Huawei P20 Pro to the Indian market along with the smaller Huawei P20 Lite. Both the smartphones will be exclusive to Amazon in the country. Huawei is teasing the P20 Pro as 'SEE MOOORE With AI' and the P20 Lite as 'A New Superstar.' However, the prices of these devices are unknown at the moment, but Huawei will surely be aggressive on the pricing aspect and will take on the likes of the upcoming OnePlus 6 and Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S with the P20 Pro. The P20 Lite, on the other hand, will compete with the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and the upcoming Moto G6 Plus.

The expected pricing for the Huawei P20 Pro is Rs 39,999, and it's unknown which models Huawei will be launching in India. Surely, the device will offer up to 128GB of storage. The P20 Lite might retail for less than Rs 20,000 because it packs the same HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC as the Honor 9i, Honor 7X and Honor 9 Lite devices.

As you might be aware of, the Huawei P20 Pro sports a triple camera setup at the back with a 40MP primary sensor, 20MP Monochrome sensor and 8MP telephoto lens sensor. Coupled with that insane camera hardware is Huawei Artificial Intelligence (AI) tricks, which makes the device stand out from the crowd.

Also, the Huawei P20 Pro packs powerful hardware in the form of Kirin 970 SoC, up to 6GB of RAM and a beefy 4000mAh battery is present on the smartphone. However, the P20 Lite doesn't inspire confidence when it comes to hardware as it uses the same Kirin 659 SoC, which we have seen on several Honor smartphones.

But the P20 Pro and P20 Lite offer a 24MP selfie shooter, which again is paired with Huawei's AI tricks to appeal the customers. And both the phones feature a notch on top of the screen. The launch date of the phones is not far away, so stay tuned for the pricing and other details.
