Gmail v5.0 app for Android will have an option to add non-Gmail accounts such as Yahoo and Outlook. Google has not unveiled the redesign yet, but AndroidPolice managed a worthy scoop via video (below) which shows some of the latest features, and launch along with Android 5.0 Lollipop in upcoming weeks.
The support for Yahoo, Outlook, and other email providers within the Gmail applications means that the users will be able to receive all mails at one place without any need to switch between various mail apps, just the way we switch between several Gmail accounts within the app.
Moreover, the Gmail 5.0 comes with a fresh new look, including a neat screen with circular icons and avatars. The redesign syncs the Gmail app with Google’s new Material Design aesthetics, which already has its impact on various apps such as the Newsstand and the Hangouts.
