Flipkart: The Best Tool for a Serial Shopper

Flipkart has been leading the Indian e-commerce scene by quite a margin and it is interesting to see how the desi shopping platform is making it difficult for even Amazon to monopolise. With the rise of smartphones and Internet users it is a natural progression that customers start shopping on their smartphones.

Flipkart shopping application has greatly improved from the past and the new update also groups products and deals that you would be interested in, eliminating the need of manual searching. The app already has more than 10 million downloads on the Google Playstore.

The app opens up quickly and once the user logins with their Flipkart account, they can access all the features. Swiping from left will bring the categories menu pane and one can access the profile, order and addresses amongst many other things by clicking extended menu.

Users can swipe across the screen to view the other categories. An icon on the upper left corner shows all the categories in the form of a list. Users can filter searches and sort products depending upon popularity, price, brand, discounts and relevance too.’

I have been using the Flipkart application for a long time and am an avid shopper I find it exciting and informative when the status of the order is beamed via an Android notification. Users can also access the in-app alerts by clicking on the bell icon. The performance of the application has been consistent and it doesn’t get sluggish even when the phone is running on low RAM. Frankly speaking I find the shopping process more exciting in mobile application as compared to the traditional website. You can download the Flipkart application here.
