First Five Days With TelecomMapIt’s been five days since we launched TelecomMap, the first of its kind initiative to map 3G/Wi-Fi networks in the entire nation.

All these days we have been receiving good number of reports about 3G coverage.




As mentioned in the earlier post Making best use of TelecomMap, many of you are failing to provide detailed location information. Providing specific location information can be advantageous in many ways:

Telecom companies can make a note of places and work on improving their networks which will ultimately benefit you.

Future 3G subscribers need not consult their friends/operators to check network coverage in their areas. They can completely rely on TelecomMap!

This post makes an attempt bring out the opinions of 3G subscribers across different cities.

Here is a pictorial representation of the reports mapped this week.

With BSNL being PAN India operator, we got highest number of reports from BSNL users. Many were a happy lot of subscribers of different operators but there were a few who complained that no networks are perfect in their areas.
