Deutsche Telekom has unified its national and international wholesale businesses into a single division, T Wholesale, to streamline services and strengthen its position in both local and global telecommunications market. This move integrates the former Deutsche Telekom Global Carrier with the wholesale operations of the nationally-operating Telekom Deutschland GmbH, offering customers a consolidated portfolio of solutions.

Strategic Goals and Benefits
According to the company, the restructuring aims to enhance efficiency, improve service quality, and reduce costs for clients, while addressing the growing demand for integrated, international solutions.
The combined entity T Wholesale will provide a wide range of offerings, including IPX and fiber optic networks, point-to-point connections, Ethernet and MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) connectivity, in-flight broadband, and data center services. It also plans to prioritise advancements in digital communication, 5G Standalone, AI, Network APIs, and edge cloud technologies.

Customer-Centric Focus
"The wholesale areas of Deutsche Telekom serve over 250 telecommunications providers and resellers in Germany, as well as more than 900 international customers and partners," Deutsche Telekom said on Monday, January 6, 2025.
The Managing Director of T Wholesale said, "We offer a portfolio from a single source, both in Germany and internationally, creating a seamless customer experience."
With this integration, T Wholesale now provides digital solutions to more than 1,000 customers and partners, the German operator added.
