Today the auction completed its 4th day with 6 successful clock rounds taking the total to 23 rounds of bidding in the auction process this far. Even today the premium 700 MHz and 900 MHz bands maintained their virgin status. Most of the activity revolved around the 850 MHz and 1800 MHz bands with demand exceeding supply only in Rajasthan and UP east circles in the two bands respectively.
The 850 MHz band saw moderate activity with fresh bids for Punjab and Rajasthan circles since the close of bidding process on day 3. The demand exceeded supply only in Rajasthan circle at the end of round 23.
The 1800 MHz band saw decent action with fresh bids only in Mumbai and UP east circles since the close of bidding process on day 3. The demand exceeded supply only in UP east circle at the end of round 23 (In Mumbai circle the demand equals supply and will still warrant a price increase for round 24).
The 2100 MHz band saw no activity today with no fresh bids in any circle since the close of bidding process on day 3. In no circle does the demand exceed supply of spectrum at the end of round 23.
The 2300 MHz band also failed to attract any attention today with no fresh bids in any circle since the close of bidding process on day 3. In no circle did the demand exceed supply of airwaves at the end of round 23.
The 2500 MHz band showed marginal activity today with fresh bids only in Bihar circle since the close of bidding process on day 3. In no circle did the demand exceed supply of spectrum at the end of round 23.
