Telecom operators Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea and Reliance Jio, have urged the telecom regulator Trai that additional spectrum usage charge (SUC) of 0.5 % must only be applicable in shared spectrum bands rather than the entire spectrum band. Not only…
this sharing is is between which opeator?
as of now only VIL is sitting on extra idle spectrum, with very less data capacity on 4g.
JIO is already running shortage and behind schedule for acquiring spectrum in either 3/5/40 band as soon as aution opens
Airtel has almost exhusted used(deployed) of all available spectrum it got from aircel(2300, ) videocon and tata, except small portion in 850Mhz.
Wiiner from UVARCL, aircel and rcom spectrum will use for own purpose, hence no additional spectrum available.
then which opeator is gaining from changes in RULE. although policy wise its make clear and benifical in long term for Industry.
