There are many jio no. which are not in use.
I have 4 jio sims of which I am using only 2 sims (one in jio phone) and other 2 sims not using , still they are active.
I think data growth is majorly coming from rural area's , where jio has an excellent network coverage .
It is jio's reach & consistently at pan India level along with jio phone , which is helping them lead in market share.
Airtel has also started expanding their rural coverage but still far behind jio. These days a lot of new ground base towers are being set up along side jio towers in Maharashtra , Gujarat & rajasthan rural areas. Most of these commissioned are of airtel & will be followed by void as second tenant. . Airtel & void have started filling coverage gaps .
Agree or not agree. Market is slowly but steadily consolidating in two pvt operators.
Just wanted to add my thoughts on all three pvt operators::::
1. Voda idea is now all about redX plan. Where ever they have built capacity with additional spectrum put into and max mimo sites, users are getting exceptional speeds. I have experienced it on my relative phone. BUT, selling this expensive plan pan India without having uniform capacity on its network, I believe it is gross cheating and regulator should introspect. I can see people subscribing to this plan and then unsubscribe to this plan by paying 3000 penalty. Some customers are mischievously pushed into this plan with hope of better speeds by telemarking team of voda. VERY BAD BUSIENSS ETHICS
2. AIRTEL is all about chasing premium customers. They have added maximum 4G Bands across its tier 1 circles but it is not really helping in terms of building capacity. Amount of spectrum per band is too low and users stuck on particular band doesn’t get proper speeds. THEY NEED TO ENABLE 3CA and 4CA as done by JIO . Not sure why Airtel is still holding this for very long. Does Airtel feel that their network will collapse by speed hungry premium users in cities. Another reason could be dismissal 1GBPS microwave backhaul. Airtel fiberasation is only 30% pan India.
3. JIO needs more spectrum and thats it. They have more tower fiberasation upri 70% . Even their band 40 is better optimised than Airtel since jio has more tower density. Jio needs more innovation on postpaid plan front. It is dismissal . 199 is much better plan but we need more options. Typical Reliance culture is set into jio executives at retails stores and it is very bad . Jio should focus on its customer experience but growing customers is not waking them up. But I applaud that once customers walks out of jio store he doesn’t need to go back. All backend setup is top notch. All process is digital including pre to post and vice versa . Airtel and voda employees creates ruckus in this and make their customers run pillar to post
After balesh exit it was evident all hopes of its revival was diminished. I am not saying he was genioua but he was better anybody else in voda idea leadership
You need to mention total subscribers, bsnl customers etc
& present it in pie graphs
