Bharti Airtel and VIL Questioned by Trai Over Differential Network Speeds
Vodafone Idea Limited (VIL) and Bharti Airtel are both being questioned by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) over their differential broadband speed plans. Both the telcos were earlier questioned on their Priority 4G Network offer which claimed to…
TRAI is a dummy of Ambani.....There is nothing wrong in offering premium service
Questions are prepared by Jio guys? LOL
Why don't Jio also start premium services by installing 4*4 mimo to its postpaid users
Why stopping others
After declaring first quarter loss of around 16000 crores due to AGR , now Mittal annouces bonus for all employees.
Where is the confidence coming from ???
On the expense of others? Yes, it's a problem. If I am paying less it doesn't mean I should get 2g speed in the name of 4G.
Plus it's against net neutrality
@Rashika, For premium service they should install separate tower.
They will cap speed of others if they give priority to some users in the name of premium service.
Not many postpaid users with jio, tells what jio thinks about us
Wah!!!! Super analogy ...... Hahahaha. ROFL
Trai is the regulator .
Nothing wrong in it , if TRAI seeks clarification from these telco's for speed claims. They have the right to scrutinise .Trai is protecting consumer Interest.
Void & Airtel should provide their action plan & prove that how they are offering higher speeds to premium plans , wth out affecting speeds of regular customers.
After all , they are asking extra money . So should provide details & then earn if clear.
Mr khanna - it is not that Airtel & void have trust on customers & Jio does not .
Post paid users also need to earn credit . It is only after few months of billing cycle & regular payments , credit limit increases upwards .
Telco's are taking security deposit from new post paid connection before start for their safety. If you exceed credit limit in mid cycle , then on account payments are required or out going is stopped.
Telco's are charging more from post paid as for credit /risk that these telco's carry for bill & charge. Those costs are covered in plan rentals..
Prepaid is safe for Telco's as you pay & use .
Actual plan is like that fo ambani.
But last time he got back slash when offer free unlimited call under JIO Welcome Offer. so this time Ambani is testing ground with exiting telco and then come up with plans once TRAI finalised some policy for such differential plan.
In short TRAI apporoved Plan at cheaper price.
Kunal bhai, that 15k crore is loss due to statuary payments which will be paid on 10 to15 yrs and not immediately. So it is loss in books and not actually loss
Network and provision for speed isn't just about "tower".
It is a Sad state of affairs, TRAI was sleeping when Jio ran promotions for 6 months leading to closure of several networks, and now without proper investigation asked these operators to hold plans, If it could do this now why it did not do this then
I am not getting 4g+ in airtel in my city anybody facing such issue checked on oneplus 7 and Samsung note 8
