Wow...! "200" & "300" is Just as what I said in "India may miss 5G" article.

Vittal Make me CEO, I will help u to push to 200&300 without any problems 🙂 ????

Gareeb p*rn players will do everything as they did in last 70+years,no matter what. It's basically the outcome of ultra socialistic Political nature that India stuck wrt post colonial "No identity" & freebie doleouts mindset.

What operators should do is market "unlimited free" for 10rs per day. This will work with Indian minds.

As theaters r closed, they must start marketing on streaming content like 2 [email protected] @ 10rs per day.

"10rs per day" for OTT services& on the go T.V+ mobile communication & extensive "5G coming soon" will work. If they push 10 per day into minds of every user. Their 300 can be achieved by end of 2020. Fix 10rs& compete on services with rest. This won't under cut revenues to expand further. Airtel must take the lead.

Telecos must offer 30min free Talktime for all existing 2G,3G base for 3months. This step will mask anti Gareeb cry like ppl r dying on roads & suit boot Sarkar cry of some ideologically bankrupt Political loosers. Over time reduce those freebies& make"10 per day for these many services" as main marketing strategy. Ppl will forget everything just like they did @ 1gb for 200rs.

Growth only happens with a pyramid model backed by innovation, efficient capital usage,...flat line model can only create entities like BSNL. Useless jerks still selling copper& doing water meter bill collectors work.

Change of plans should happen gradually & they should not market wrt higher denominations if they want to raise ARPU.

300 per user per month is very reasonable to be sustainable, for investors & innovations with IOT+5G. That's 300rs only because of high density of usage base, else it would only be like in EU& U.S bcz same equipment is used everywhere.

Gain with IOT+5G >>> personal loss ppl make to pay high tariffs. Should not kill future just to keep up savings more.

Quality of services will go down but the price should be hiked for nothing....

On expected lines. Tariffs are bound to increase regardless of the Floor Price confirmation. Brace for higher tariffs. This is exactly why 5G should be avoided for a good five years.

Jab - Miya biwi raazi toh kya karega kaazi ?

I read few months back that all operators have written to trai suggesting their lowest per GB cost price .

Jio asking the lowest at 25 to 30 per GB followed by Airtel at 35 per GB & void with the highest per GB cost .

Present prices of all operators are in the range of rs 5 to 10 per GB .

Why are they waiting for trai to fix floor price ? They can all increase price's at their will.

Until few months back , Jio was the problem for Airtel & void in terms of pricing.

Due to price pressure, avoid did loose customer base

But Now Jio is the most aggressive , they are increasing prices & are at par with avoid.

One can say - Even ahead of avoid , as they are charging for outgoing calls at six paise after fixed plan quota talk time is exhausted.
Also Jio average data speeds are less then void with in cities , where the bulk of consumption happens.

Jio is clearly giving signals to Airtel & void to go for next round of increase .

Jio will not lead but will follow void as they have spoken high about being the lowest price operator.

Jio wants price increase to happen in order to get better valuation from foreign investors in stake sale.

Secondly , Jio increased profits will offset parent Reliance Industries subdued refining margins as oil prices have dropped drastically.

I am sure , back door discussions may be going on between the three &
Airtel may lead any time soon with the next round of increase . Better to do long term recharge or que plan to save on price.

I feel Telco's are getting greedy , government should quickly fix the highest per GB cost that can be charged from customer.
