Comio, the sister brand of Topwise Communication today announced two new budget smartphones in the Indian market. Dubbed as the Comio S1 Lite and C2 Lite, these smartphones offer 4G LTE & VoLTE support, front-facing flash and dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion which is a rarity under Rs 10,000 these days. The Comio S1 Lite goes against the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi 4 while the C2 Lite competes with smartphones such as Xiaomi Redmi 5A and Tenor D. Also, these phones are stripped down versions of Comio S1, and Comio C2 smartphones launched last year.

Comio S1 Lite Specifications and Features
Firstly, let's talk about the Comio S1 Lite smartphone. The highlight of the S1 Lite is its 8MP selfie camera and 13MP rear camera. The 13MP rear camera can record 1080p videos and has support for an LED flash, while the 8MP selfie camera has a 4P lens and LED flash support too.

The front of the phone is dominated by a 5-inch HD display, which is down from the 5.5-inch display seen on the Comio S1. The chipset is paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It boots Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and has support for USB OTG as well. And the phone is powered by an unknown quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz.

This entire package is backed by a 3050mAh battery and the phone measures 8.65mm in thickness. Comio confirmed to include Tempered Glass and protective case inside the retail box. Also, the phone comes preinstalled by Venus browser which is said to have 200 apps support.

Comio C2 Lite Specifications and Features
Unlike the S1 Lite, the C2 Lite has a massive 3900mAh battery and also offers USB OTG support. Cameras in the C2 Lite include an 8MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 4P lens and LED flash, followed by a 5MP selfie camera with flash and 3P lens. This device also runs Android 7.0 Nougat with Comio's custom later on top.

Internally, it is powered by an unspecified 1.3GHz quad-core processor, mated to 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. And thankfully, this phone also comes with a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion. The retail box of the Comio C2 Lite includes a free Tempered Glass and protective case.

Comio S1 Lite and C2 Lite Pricing and Availability
The Comio S1 Lite is priced at Rs 7,499, and the C2 Lite will retail for Rs 5,999. Both the phones will be available in offline stores, which is Comio' strategy since its entry to the Indian market. Both the phones offer decent specifications, but the lack of a powerful processor will hurt the company for sure.
