@AMIT MALHOTRA – you must be JOKING … with speeds of RELIANCE GSM 92G) one cannot use even 1 GB … so what use is 10 GB even if they give it to the customer FREE???

That is not possible. One can use maximum 5 GB in a month if he is a heavy user and the upload and download speed each comes to more than 25 KB / s.

Who uses 2G now? You can never use 10 GB on 2G anyway. Even unlimited 2G is useless in the age of 4G.

@Love Airtel – still there are many lost souls waiting for 3G on their UNINOR networks… or possibly 4G on their BSNL networks… the MK’s of Hosur and the TS’s of Tamil Nadu for instance !!

Yes, actually after the ICRA agreement with Voda its coverage has improved a lot(equal to voda netwk, i know it..coz…i hv both voda and reliance sim). But its 2g internet speed disappointed me like vodafone.

@
Krish- with AIRTEL 4G I get speeds of 10-15 Mbps (day time, peak hours) which improves to 30-32 mbps (1-2 am) which is ample for me. For anything else AIRTEL BROADBAND gives me steady 8mbps (anytime of the day), again ample for me.

In my area BSNL broadband gives above 450 KB / s download and above 100 KB / s upload speed before fair usage in the Rs.999 plan. After fair usage, I always get above 60 KB / s download speed and above 80 KB / s upload speed.

I am satisfied with BSNL broadband in terms of speed. I mostly don’t care about customer care because there will be only 5 non continuous downtime days in a year which does not matter. I will use BSNL or Aircel 3G during that time.

BSNL, Idea and Aircel rocks in Tamilnadu.

Wired broadband gives steady speed.

@ Kousik Bhakta – when an operator provides services over ICRA – the speeds of the parasite network (eg: Reliance) will be much less than the host network (eg: Vodafone), this is to ensure their payouts to Vodafone dont exceed their revenue earned. Same is the case here in Telangana – Vodafone 3G is much slower than IDEA 3G as it uses the latter’s infr and network.

After this pack expires

Call rates will be 2p per sec

Krish
December 19, 2015 12:40 am 12:40 AM

Apart from Tv ad, I can’t even see any trace of 4G in whole bengal circle! 4G has become a obsolate thing..that u can only sense through ur sense organ but not in ur smartphone!!
Coming to 3G, in my village Airtel 3G (& idea via icr) is present. I haven’t tested airtel 3g or 2g but idea 3G is costly compared to the data charge! so, 2G is the only viable option left..!

And they are talking “indian people are not yet ready for such service.”

@ Krish – which ORGANS are you using to SENSE the 4G network?

You can try airtel 3g. In rural areas their speed is superb probably due to less no. of users.
