Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited’s consumer centric moves have been dominating the market for quite some time now. However, even with that the telecom operator is struggling financially. The thing to note here is that somehow, BSNL is still managing to add subscribers to its base in a market condition where a lot of telcos are losing subscribers. This phenomenon can be attributed to the launch of new prepaid vouchers, introduction of new attractive offers, freebies and more which BSNL is bringing into the market to lure customers. Now, in another new move, BSNL has introduced brand new prepaid vouchers which have not been seen before on its portfolio. So, without further ado, let’s jump right in and see what are the benefits being offered by these two new plans by BSNL.

BSNL Rs 1,399 and Rs 1,001 Prepaid Voucher Details

Before we proceed with the detail of these two plans, it is crucial to note that these plans have currently been launched in the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana circle only and the launch details of these plans for other circles is not known as of now. Firstly, BSNL has introduced the Rs 1,399 prepaid plan for its customers which offer unlimited voice calls to any network except roaming in Delhi and Mumbai. In addition to this, the plan bundles 1.5GB daily data for the subscribers along with 50 SMS per day. The validity of this plan is 270 days, and hence, it can be said that this plan from BSNL is a long-term plan. The thing to note is that the plan is available for a promotional period of 90 days with effect from July 25, 2019.

The second plan launched by BSNL is somewhat similar to the abovementioned plan. However, this comes with a focus on voice calling customers and is cheaper in comparison. This second plan from BSNL will cost the subscribers Rs 1,001, and it offers unlimited voice calling to the subscribers except for roaming in New Delhi and Mumbai. Along with this, the plan bundles 9GB data for the entire validity period of 270 days. The SMS benefits in this plan are also 750 SMS, and those are also for the entire validity period only. Similar to the plan mentioned above, this one also comes for a promotional period of 90 days with effect from July 25, 2019. Both these plans are currently available only in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana circle and the telco introduced them on the occasion of Bonalu festival.

BSNL STAR Membership Details

Recently, BSNL has also launched a new STAR membership for its prepaid customers which they can buy for Rs 498 offering them free unlimited calling, 30GB worth of data and 100 SMS per day freebies for 30 days and a total plan validity of 365 days. In this period, the subscribers will be able to recharge with many STVs on discount. For example, the STV 97 will be available to the subscribers for Rs 76, whereas STV 447 will be available to the subscribers for Rs 407.
