Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has been focused on delivering better consumer-centric services for its subscribers in a bid to retain its subscriber base on all fronts. Whether it is broadband, postpaid or prepaid services, BSNL has been working hard to attract new subscribers and to hold on to its existing ones. Back in December 2018, BSNL had introduced a new offer for its broadband subscribers wherein the telco was offering 25% cashback on the purchase of annual broadband plans from BSNL. As per the initial notification, the offer was supposed to end on December 31, but to the surprise of BSNL subscribers, now the offer has been extended to March 31.

BSNL 25% Cashback Offer Details

BSNL took to Twitter to announce the extension of this cashback offer on its annual broadband plans. It is also worth noting that the cashback scheme will not only be limited to new BSNL broadband subscribers but will also be extended to the existing customers as well. The cashback will be given to these subscribers in the form a credit to their account which they will be able to use for availing other BSNL services or for the payment of future bills. BSNL has also noted that this cashback offer will be available in all of its circles.

How to Get BSNL Cashback on Annual Broadband Plans

To avail this 25% cashback offer, a BSNL broadband subscriber will have to connect his or her device with the internet. Upon doing that, the subscriber will be presented with an information banner on their PC or mobile which will inform them about the 25% cashback offer. There will be an Agree button on the banner from where the subscriber will be able to proceed further. On the next screen, the subscriber will have to enter their Service ID, i.e. landline or FTTH broadband number. After completion of this step, they will receive an OTP on their BSNL registered mobile number, and after they have verified their number via an OTP, a screen with existing plan and proposed annual plan along with tenure will be displayed.

If they want to switch to a new plan for the 25% cash back they can proceed ahead by clicking on Submit or else click Cancel in case the change is not required. Upon the completion of this step, a relevant message will be displayed on the screen depending on whether or not you made a plan choice. As of late BSNL has been making decisions which are very consumer friendly. Only a few days back, the telco introduced a new Rs 298 prepaid plan which bundles daily 1GB data and Eros now free content subscription. Apart from this, the telco is working towards an increased 4G presence in the country. With the new cashback offer for annual broadband subscribers, BSNL is likely to see some positive feedbacks for its plan.
