Bharti Airtel has yet again revised its myPlan Infinity range of postpaid plans to stay ahead of the competition. Apart from the Rs 399 postpaid plan, other plans are revised to offer better data benefit than earlier. Airtel also revised the Rs 399 plan, but it revised both data and voice calling benefit. The Rs 399 postpaid plan of Airtel now gives 20GB of data, and unlimited roaming outgoing calls too, modified from the 10GB data per month and unlimited incoming roaming calls.

Strangely enough, Airtel’s website is not showing the unlimited outgoing roaming calls option for the Rs 399 plan, but the MyAirtel application shows it. We’re assuming that the new change is applicable only to the existing customers and not for new users who’re joining the network. We will update this post once there’s an official confirmation from Airtel.

The revised Rs 399 postpaid tariff plan from Airtel offers 20GB of data for a billing cycle and unlimited incoming, roaming calls without any FUP. But sadly, other benefits such as no Amazon Prime subscription, no free add-ons remain the same. For the unaware, we recently reported that Airtel is allowing users to add child users for free and share the benefits.

Speaking of the other revised plans, Airtel is now providing 40GB of data per billing cycle with the Rs 499 plan; the Rs 799 tariff plan now gives 60GB of data and the Rs 1,199 postpaid plan is now offering 90GB data up from the earlier 75GB of data.

Airtel’s Rs 1,599 premium plan gives 150GB of data per billing cycle; the Rs 1,999 postpaid plan is offering 200GB of data, and lastly, the Rs 2,999 postpaid plan is providing a whopping 300GB of data. With these revised postpaid plans, Airtel is offering better data benefit than other telecom operators in the postpaid segment. But soon, Vodafone and Idea Cellular modify their postpaid plans to match Bharti Airtel.

All these plans offer unlimited incoming and outgoing roaming calls, 100 SMS per day, free Amazon Prime Subscription (excluding Rs 399 plan), free Add-Ons (Rs 799 plan and above). So Airtel is providing its users to stay in the postpaid segment with the new revision. Will you now choose Airtel’s postpaid plans over prepaid?
