Austria's regional Internet Service Provider (ISP) KufNet, a subsidiary of utility Stadtwerke Kufstein, announced a major milestone as it reaches 15,000 customers across 14 Tyrolean municipalities. The ISP's commitment to personalized advice and exceptional service at competitive prices has garnered significant traction among residents in the region, according to the company.

KufNet's Network Expansion
In an effort to meet the increasing demand for high-speed internet and advanced entertainment options, KufNet stated that it is actively expanding its network coverage. The ISP is set to provide ultra-speed broadband internet, access to a wide selection of TV channels in HD quality, and affordable landline telephone services to residents in the community of Bad Haring. The expansion plan, in collaboration with the municipality of Bad Haring, is expected to launch during Winter 2023/24.

The partnership between KufNet and the municipality of Bad Haring aims to bring fibre optic technology to the area, ensuring seamless connectivity and enhanced digital experiences for residents. The company stated that the first phase of the expansion project is projected to commence in January 2024, marking a significant step forward in bridging the digital divide and meeting the growing connectivity needs of the region.
