Asus TUF FX504
This new series of laptops which Asus has introduced will focus more on durability and reliability. The TUF gaming laptop will come with a 15.6-inch Full HD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, 3ms gray-to-gray (GTG) response time and a 130% sRGB colour gamut. The prime feature of this screen is the impressive refresh rate which will allow gamers to have a smooth visual experience on screen.

Speaking of performance, the gaming laptop comes powered by the 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processor accompanied by the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card which is supported by Microsoft DirectX 12. There is also the 8GB RAM and 128GB of PCIe SSD storage. Along with this, there is also one technology which deserves the attention which is the HyperCool technology inside the laptop. The thermal design which the FX504 puts into use is known to significantly prolong its lifespan. This technology will facilitate stable cooling action even during intense gaming marathons. The way this technology works is that it pairs the patented Anti-Dust Cooling(ADC) system with the Fan Overboost. The ADC system channels harmful dust particles and dirt through two dedicated tunnels to prevent build-up in the thermal fins whereas the Fan Overboost function provides users with three different modes for establishing a balance between fan performance and noise level.

Onto the keyboard of the laptop, the FX 504 fashions a desktop-style gaming keyboard which is optimized for extended gaming and typing sessions. Again, the focus here will be on the durability of the laptop. The company claims that it will provide a lifespan of 20 million keypresses on this keyboard. The keys have 1.8mm travel and also provide smooth keystroke action with backlit keys with highlighted WASD keys.

Asus ROG G703
The Asus ROG G703 is apparently the most powerful gaming laptop in the series. The machine comes powered by Intern Core i9-8950HK processor. The processor on the chipset has been specifically factory-overclocked for speeds of up to 4.8GHz which translates to 11% more than base speed. For the graphics, the laptop features the massively powerful NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card along with 8GB GDDR5X VRAM at 1974MHz and 10.3GHz clock speed respectively.

As for the visuals, this laptop features a bigger 17.3-inch FHD IPS display with an even better 144Hz refresh rate with 3ms GTG response time which is further optimised with the help of NVIDIA G-SYNC, and it is because of this that the laptop is able to deliver smooth graphics on the screen. According to the company’s claims the G703 will be easily able to handle the AAA gaming titles at Ultra graphics settings without any kind of visual tearing, lag, or any frame rate stutter. Also, to add to the quality of the display the screen comes with an anti-glare coating to avoid reflections.

Speaking of the storage on the G703 the laptop features 64GB of RAM and 2TB of SATA HDD internal storage. The storage is accompanied by NVMe PCIe 3.0 x 4SSDs, which are responsible for delivering ultra-fast RAID speeds of up to 8700 MB/s. For connectivity, the laptop comes with Bluetooth V4.2, integrated WiFi 802.11 AC, two Headphone jack, an SD card reader, a mini DisplayPort, four Type A USB3.0 (USB3.1 GEN1), an RJ45 LAN Jack for LAN insert, an HDMI and a Type C USB3.1 (GEN2) Thunderbolt.

This laptop also does not miss out on the additional features and functionality to bump up the gaming experience and includes the Aura Sync technology that gives gamers customisation options under which they can decide to sync up light effects with Aura Sync-supported gaming mice, headsets, and other peripherals and create a gaming setup accustomed to their needs. This technology allows the gamers to choose from a colour palette of 16 million colours and eight lighting modes which are accessible via the Aura control panel.
