Bharti Airtel and ZEE5, which is hailed to be India’s fastest growing OTT platform, have been in a partnership to provide exclusive content to the Airtel subscribers from quite some time now. However, going a step further, the content platform and the telecom operator have announced that they have further strengthened their strategic partnership to enable a world-class digital content experience for Airtel mobile customers. Notably, Airtel has reintroduced its Airtel Thanks customer scheme for its subscribers, and as part of that, the operator is providing ZEE5 subscription to its customers.

ZEE5 Premium Subscription for Airtel Platinum Customers Details

As part of Airtel’s refreshed #AirtelThanks customer rewards program, all Airtel Platinum customers will now get unlimited complimentary access to ZEE5’s vast content catalogue as part of their plan benefits. All Airtel mobile customers on Infinity Postpaid plans of Rs 499 and above will be eligible for this exclusive benefit. Notably, the Airtel Thanks benefits are tier based and they are distributed depending on whether the customer belongs in the silver, gold or platinum tier. This new exclusive content access from ZEE5 will only be limited to Platinum tier customers of Airtel.

ZEE5 has an extensive digital content library that includes the Video on Demand (VOD) network content along with the recently launched ZEE5 Originals, Movies, TV Shows, Music Videos, Lifestyle shows, Kids shows and Plays. The Airtel subscribers will be able to access popular titles on the ZEE5 subscription like Uri – The Surgical Strike, Simmba, Kedarnath, Veere Di Wedding, etc. Airtel Platinum customers will simply need to claim free ZEE5 Subscription offer from Airtel Thanks section of My Airtel app by downloading the ZEE5 app to start accessing this premium content.

Shashwat Sharma, Chief Marketing Officer, Bharti Airtel said: “#AirtelThanks has received phenomenal response and we are delighted to bring ZEE5’s exciting content to our Platinum customers as part of the value proposition. We will continue to expand our ecosystem of partners to enable a differentiated experience for our customers.”

About this new milestone in the Airtel ZEE5 partnership, Manish Aggarwal, Business Head, ZEE5 India said, “This partnership is in line with our growth strategy as it is a crucial step towards fulfilling our aim to offer new and exciting content. It will strengthen our reach by the potential proliferation of ZEE5 premium content to a wider and new set of audience. We are happy to partner with Airtel, and via similar partnerships we will continue to enhance our offerings with the customer at the center.”

Airtel Thanks Platinum Tier Benefits

Like we mentioned above, the Airtel Thanks customer scheme has been a trendy one in the past, and with its reintroduction, the telecom operator has restructured the Airtel Thanks scheme and thrown in some new benefits. The Airtel Thanks scheme is available across three tiers including Silver, Gold and Platinum. Each tier out of the three opens a whole new set of benefits for Airtel customers. These customers can get access to VIP service, premium content, e-books, device protection, and exclusive invites and priority access to events and sales depending on their tier.
