When it comes to prepaid recharges, there are two telecom operator, Bharti Airtel and Vodafone, which are preferred the most by subscribers. While Reliance Jio prepaid plans were the ultimate choice for the subscribers until a few days back, the plans lost a little of their charm sometime back when they were clubbed with an IUC cost for the customers. This means that other telecom operator started to see a little more traction as consumers were searching for different options which were providing them truly unlimited calls and as such, Vodafone and Bharti Airtel seemed to be the obvious choice of the customers. The prepaid portfolio of both of these telcos is quite lengthy, and there are many plans which seem similar across both of these portfolios. Today we are going to be taking a look at the Rs 599 prepaid plan from both of these operators.

Bharti Airtel Prepaid Plan of Rs 599

It is noteworthy that the Rs 599 prepaid plan by Bharti Airtel is not well promoted by the telecom operator. When you visit the website, you are not likely to find the Rs 599 prepaid plan upfront, and you might have to look for it. However, that doesn’t change the fact that the plan is present there for subscribers who might want to recharge with it. Now, coming to the benefits of this plan, Bharti Airtel prepaid subscribers should make note that the Rs 599 prepaid plan comes with 2GB unlimited data, unlimited local, STD and roaming calls and with complimentary life insurance worth Rs 4 lakh. The validity of this prepaid plan is 84 days, which is close to three months. The subscribers also get access to 100 SMS per day.

It is also worth noting for the subscribers of this prepaid plan that the Rs 4 lakh insurance cover on this plan has been brought together by the telco in partnership with Bharti AXA. With every recharge, the subscribers will be able to continue the life insurance for three months. Also, Bharti Airtel has noted that the insurance process has been designed in such a way that the customers would be able to get their policy documents digitally in a matter of a few minutes. The Rs 599 prepaid plan was launched last month only, and currently, it has been introduced only in Pondicherry and Tamil Nadu, and it would be brought to other circles as well, Bharti Airtel has noted.

Vodafone Prepaid Recharge Plan of Rs 599

Next up, we have the Rs 599 prepaid recharge from Vodafone. This plan by Vodafone is quite different from what you would expect. Unlike the Bharti Airtel prepaid recharge which offers daily data, the Vodafone prepaid plan of Rs 599 diverges a bit. This plan bundles 6GB data for the entire validity period of 180 days. The subscribers do get access to unlimited local, STD and roaming calls. They also get access to 1800 SMS in the entire validity period of 180 days. As for other benefits, the subscribers of this plan get access to Vodafone Play app.

Comparison of Both Plans

When it comes to benefits, both the Rs 599 prepaid plans from Bharti Airtel and Vodafone are pretty self-explanatory. The total data benefit is much more in the Bharti Airtel prepaid plan, although the Vodafone Rs 599 prepaid subscribers get to enjoy more validity. However, even with that being said, there is the unique life insurance cover benefit which totally sets apart the Bharti Airtel Rs 599 prepaid plan from the rest.
