Airtel TV Now Leads the Top Charts Under Free Apps Category in Google Play Store

Airtel TV is now leading the top free apps chart on the Google Play Store. Thanks to the recent offers from Airtel such as the Amazon Prime subscription for postpaid customers, free subscription to Airtel TV until June 2018, 1GB free data for just downloading and signing into the app, and more importantly, Airtel is offering more than 350 Live TV channels on the platform. Airtel recently joined

hands with Star TV and brought the entire Hotstar catalogue to its platform, becoming the first operator to do so.

The Airtel TV app is also the second most downloaded application in Entertainment category on Apple App Store. At the end of last year, Airtel collaborated with India’ leading e-commerce portal, Amazon to offer free Amazon Prime subscription to the Airtel postpaid customers using Rs 499 plan or above. The Amazon Prime subscription will be valid for one year, and users can avail both Amazon Prime Video and standard Amazon Prime subscription for faster deliveries on Amazon website.

Another highlight of the Airtel TV app is the Live TV service. Airtel is offering more than 350 Live TV channels on its platform, 10,000+ movies & TV shows. Airtel is offering content in 15 languages such as Hindi, English, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, etc.

For the movies and TV shows, Airtel has collaborated with content providers such as Eros Now, HOOQ, Sony LIV, and also allowing its users to watch YouTube right from the app itself.

The Airtel TV app is feature-rich as well. With features such as Time Shift, Catch Up TV, and Multi-Device Access, Airtel is making a difference in the multimedia aspect. And the service is also free for all the Airtel prepaid and postpaid customers until June 2018.
