Airtel Thanks Benefits, Eligibility, Tiers and Redeeming Process Detailed

In the first week of May, we saw Bharti Airtel introduced a major change to its postpaid plans, and also the telco reintroduced its customer programme for its subscribers, the Airtel Thanks programme. This scheme is for the existing subscribers of Bharti Airtel to avail them exclusive benefits and offers. The Airtel Thanks benefits come in three tiers of Silver, Gold and Platinum and they avail various benefits to the subscribers depending on the level they are on. These benefits come from different brands like Amazon Prime, Netflix and Zee5, Wynk Music, phone brands and more. Although there is enough information about what benefit each tier offers, we are here to help you out by telling you how you can avail the Airtel Thanks benefits and what are the eligibility criteria for these levels.

Silver Tier Benefits and Eligibility

The Silver tier is the most basic tiers of all, and this will get you Airtel TV and Wynk Music subscription. However, to claim these benefits, you will have to download and install the Airtel Thanks application on your phone. When you log in to the Airtel Thanks application, you will notice the Silver Tier tag if you’ve recharged your number with any unlimited combo recharge plan of less than Rs 199.

Gold Tier Benefits and Eligibility

The second tier will be the Gold tier, which will avail you benefits like ZEE5, HOOQ, Eros Now, ALT Balaji and more with Free Airtel TV Premium subscription and Unlimited song streaming & downloads with Free Wynk Music Subscription. This benefit will also avail you one year free Norton security and Rs 2,000 cashback on purchase of a new 4G smartphone as well but only for prepaid customers. To avail these benefits, the prepaid customers of Airtel will have to buy an unlimited combo recharge of Rs 199 or more. For postpaid subscribers, they will have to subscribe to any Infinity postpaid plan except add-ons or CoCP. Also, any broadband subscriber having a connection with a monthly rental of Rs 1,099 and less will be eligible for Airtel Thanks gold benefit. Again, you will be able to redeem these benefits by signing up with your registered number on the Airtel Thanks app.

Platinum Tier Eligibility and Benefits

Lastly, there are the Airtel Thanks Platinum members, who get access to 1 year of Amazon Prime, three months of Netflix, handset damage protection, priority customer support and free Airtel Books Readers Club subscription in addition to all the benefits of the Gold tier. To be eligible for this, you will have to buy an unlimited combo plan of Rs 499 or more in case you are a prepaid subscriber. Else if you are broadband subscriber, then you will have to buy a monthly rental plan of Rs 1099 or above to be eligible for Airtel Platinum tier.
