Its raining tariff offers from leading telecom operators. After Vodafone, Airtel has now changed its Rs. 499 myPlan Infinity postpaid plan to offer unlimited roaming outgoing calls. The Rs. 499 postpaid plan from Airtel now offers unlimited local and STD calls, unlimited incoming and outgoing roaming calls, 20GB data per billing cycle.
Alongside the normal benefits, Bharti Airtel is also offering other free subscription such as Wynk Music, Airtel TV, and Airtel Secure. With the Airtel Secure feature, customers can avail free device protection to their handset. Also, it gives the free subscription to Wynk Music which has over 3 million songs and Airtel TV offers you close to 100 Live TV channels.
That's the only change made by Airtel for the Rs. 499 myPlan Infinity postpaid plan and other plans remain the same. Airtel also has a Rs. 399 myPlan Infinity postpaid plan that gives unlimited local and STD calls, 10GB data, but the outgoing roaming calls will be charged at base rates of 80 paise/min.
Airtel also offering other plans such as Rs. 649, Rs. 799, Rs. 999, Rs. 1,199, Rs. 1,599, Rs. 1,999, and Rs. 2,999. All these plans are heavy data plans meant for data-savvy users. Also, Airtel has its postpaid data rollover scheme with which you can carry forward unused data from current billing cycle to next billing cycle.
As said earlier, Vodafone yesterday revised its RED postpaid plans and it also has the same Rs. 499 RED postpaid plan that gives 20GB data, unlimited voice calls including outgoing roaming calls. It also offers 100 SMS per billing cycle.
Besides revising the Rs. 499 myPlan Infinity postpaid plan, Airtel officially announced the Rs. 448 prepaid plan which we reported a few days ago. The Rs. 448 plan from Airtel is aimed at Reliance Jio's Rs. 399 plan and it offers same benefits as the latter. It offers unlimited local+STD calls, unlimited outgoing calls on national roaming, and 70GB data (1GB data per day). This plan is valid for 70 days, and available to all customers across India on any 4G/3G/2G device. Customers can activate the pack by visiting any Airtel retail outlet or through MyAirtel app.
