In recent days, we have seen Bharti Airtel do a significant change to its postpaid plans. The Sunil Bharti Mittal led telecom operator has also reintroduced its Airtel Thanks programme to inspire customer loyalty and to extend exclusive benefits to its customers. However, all of these benefits are mostly aimed at smartphone users on the 4G network of Airtel. A lot of people might argue that there are no offers for feature phone users from the telco apart from a few voice-based offerings that Airtel ships, but, that’s simply not the case as Airtel is providing the Mera Naya Feature Phone

Airtel Mera Naya Feature Phone Rs 597 Recharge Details

This new recharge is unique for the feature phone users as customers recharging their Airtel number with this pack for a new feature phone will get additional benefits. After 30 days of your new phone, the benefits will change slightly depending on your circle. In the Mera Naya Feature Phone recharge, Airtel is offering Unlimited Local, STD Mobile Calls along with 10GB data for 168 days. The telco is also offering 300 SMS per 28 days renewed every 28 days until the pack expires. What’s crucial to note is that the 10GB data will only work on non-4G handsets.

In case you are using a 4G or a non 4G device and your IMEI has been 30 days or older then in the Bihar, West Bengal, Orissa, UP-east, UP-west, Gujrat, Maharashtra (excluding Mumbai), Haryana, Madhya Pradesh circles you will enjoy unlimited local and STD calls with 10GB data for 140 days instead of 168 days. The subscribers will also get 300SMS which will be renewed every 28 days.

Lastly, for all other circles, and all other handsets, the benefits of 10GB data, unlimited calls and 300SMS will remain the same, but the validity of the plan will be reduced to 112 days. However, Airtel has also noted that the maximum validity that can be accumulated by the customer is limited to 180 days only. Do make a note that Airtel also has a similar plan for 4G smartphone users as well.

Airtel Rs 249 Plan with Life Insurance Benefit

Lately, Airtel has been introducing prepaid and postpaid plans with attractive benefits. One such plan in the Airtel prepaid portfolio is the new Rs 249 plan which also comes with the benefit of term insurance worth Rs 4 lakh. The plan offers 2GB daily data to the subscribers with 100 SMS per day, unlimited local and STD calling. Subscribers also get Airtel TV Premium subscription, Rs 2,000 cashback on buying a new 4G phone, Norton Mobile Security for one year, and subscription to Wynk Music. The highlighting benefit of the plan remains the Rs 4 lakh life cover from HDFC Life insurance or Bharti AXA.
