Airtel (Kolkata & West Bengal) launched new On-Net Tariff Pack

By January 23rd, 2010 AT 10:23 AM

Bharti Airtel, India’s leading cellular service provider has launched a new On-Net pack for its customers in Kolkata and West Bengal circles. The pack comes in for Rs.34 and provides On-Net calls to all local Airtel numbers at 30 paisa/minute and is valid for 60 days.

This pack will also be valid with any existing tariff pack already being subscribed by the Airtel prepaid customer in Kolkata and West Bengal. The tariff packs seems rather cheap as the monthly rental for the pack comes in for just Rs.17 and customers gets benefited for a month long to all local Airtel numbers at just 30 paisa per min.

The only con of the pack is that the customer has to invest a total of Rs.34 for two months. The operator could have easily kept it in as Rs.17. It may hinder the customer on taking decision to change his existing tariff pack after a month as he would be stuck with the above tariff for two months instead.
