Airtel Introduces New Prepaid BlackBerry Plans with Unlimited Internet

Bharti Airtel, India's largest cellular services providers today announced the launch of new BlackBerry service plans with the flexibility to choose weekly and monthly offers with Unlimted Email and Internet at affordable price for its prepaid customers.

Airtel BlackBerry smartphone customers on the new prepaid service plans can enjoy unlimited access to email, BlackBerry Messenger, Instant Messaging (IM), Social networking and Internet browsing, as well as access to the BlackBerry AppWorld application store, at a pocket friendly price starting at Rs.100 for a week and Rs.399 for a month.

Apart from the above new plans, Airtel also has Unlimited emails (POP/IMAP) + Instant Messaging Plans at Rs.80 for 7 Days and Rs.299 for a month. For Monthly Enterprise-Mail Service subscribers charges Rs.899 for Unlimited emails (POP/IMAP), Instant Messaging, Internet Browsing and Office emails for 30 days.

The launch of Airtel BlackBerry prepaid service plans reiterates Airtel’s promise to make mobile Internet browsing more attractive and economical to all its customers, especially the upwardly mobile youth and enterprising women of today.This service will enable them to do much more on their mobile phones at attractive prices ranging from Rs.100 for 7 Days to Rs. 399 per month.

Customers can also access as many as ten supported email accounts such as Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail, Google Mail and chat on popular services including Windows Live Messenger, Google Talk and Yahoo! Messenger.

As an additional customer benefit, BlackBerry smartphones can display messages from multiple mailboxes in a single Inbox and support the viewing of email attachments including Microsoft Word (.doc), Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt), Microsoft Excel (.xls), and Adobe pdf (.pdf) documents, as well as image files (.jpg, .bmp, .png, .gif, .tiff).
