Airtel Broadband Users Can Avail Free Amazon Prime Membership for One Year

Bharti Airtel has hit back at Vodafone India and Reliance Jio by partnering with Amazon for the free Amazon Prime membership for the customers. Airtel is offering one year of Amazon Prime subscription for both its postpaid and broadband users to lure more customers join the network. Airtel postpaid customers with a myPlan Infinity 499 and above are eligible for the offer, while the Airtel Broadband customers not on the base plan in any circle can avail the offer.

The Amazon Prime membership includes both Amazon Prime Video and standard Prime subscription for free & faster deliveries. As you must be aware of, Amazon Prime subscription usually costs Rs 999 if you subscribe directly from Amazon India, but Airtel is offering it for free. However, you must be eligible for the offer though.

As stated, Airtel postpaid users with myPlan Infinity Rs 499 and above are eligible for the plan. Coming to the Airtel broadband users, customers who're not on the base plan such as Rs 899 in Delhi, Gurgaon, etc. areas can claim the free Amazon Prime Video subscription. For details on eligible plans, customers can visit www.airtel.in/broadband.

The Amazon Prime Offer is on the basis of Postpaid/Broadband bill plan of the customer. Therefore, if customer downgrades bill plan to a non-eligible one, the offer will be revoked immediately.

Eligible users are required to download the Airtel TV application which is available for free on both Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Here's how you can avail the free Amazon Prime subscription:

  1. Upgrade to Rs.499 or above Airtel myPlan Infinity Postpaid plans, which offer a decent amount of data, unlimited Local, STD and National Roaming calls, data rollover (up to 500 GB), and device protection.
  2. Download the Airtel TV app from the App Store or Google Play Store. Open the Airtel TV app and click on the special Airtel – Amazon digital card (available only to eligible Airtel customers).
  3. Sign up for Amazon Prime by registering a phone number and password – no credit card or additional information required since customers receive this at no additional cost from Airtel. Next up, download the Amazon Prime Video application to enjoy free subscription for one year.
