Blackberry's KEYone (review) received a warm reception across the world and the smartphone is the best Blackberry we've seen in recent times. The KEYone completely justifies the hefty price tag, even in India, but it's not for everyone. If you're looking to move away from the full touchscreen smartphones, then the KEYone should be an ideal choice for you. Not to mention, it's for Blackberry loyalists as well.

But what if you are Blackberry fan since the early 2000s, and looking for a complete touchscreen Blackberry smartphone running Android OS? Well, this news will cheer you up. Evan Blass today posted an image of an upcoming Blackberry smartphone, and yeah, the smartphone in the image doesn't feature a keyboard.

Blass says that the device will be monikered as Blackberry Motion. Yeah yeah, you might be thinking of a recent news of a Blackberry smartphone with moniker Krypton passing the FCC certification, and according to the tipster, the so-called Blackberry Krypton will be released as Blackberry Motion.

The US FCC listing also revealed the key specifications of Blackberry Motion aka Krypton. It will be company's first smartphone to feature IP67 water and dust-resistant properties, a welcome addition. Hardware wise, the Motion will have similar specifications as the Blackberry KEYone.

A Snapdragon 625 SoC, coupled with Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB of RAM is expected to present under the hood, which will be backed by a massive 4000mAh battery. The KEYone arrived with a 3505mAh battery, which lasted two days for me, and am excited to hear the presence of an even bigger battery in the Motion.

Much like other smartphones releasing these days, the Blackberry Motion will come with a fingerprint scanner integrated into the home button. And as you can see in the image, the home button also has the Blackberry logo on it, which looks dope.

Apart from these specifications, there are not many details about the Blackberry Motion as of now. Also, the display will be a Full HD panel. The Blackberry Motion will be TCL's first completely made Blackberry device, and the smartphone is expected to release with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.

As per recent comments of François Mahieu, head of global sales at TCL Communications, a Blackberry smartphone will be released this month, and it could be the Blackberry Motion. The device will reach Indian shores by the end of 2017.
