AKAI India Announces 50-inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV Ahead of the Festive Season at Rs. 59,990

AKAI India, the prominent Japanese brand today expanded its consumer electronics product portfolio in the country with the launch of a 50-inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV in India. Priced at Rs. 59,990, this 50-inch Smart TV operates on the latest version of Android with the inbuilt AKAI App Store.

The AKAI 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV comes with a sleek design with inbuilt AKAI Store, an entertainment hub at the consumers’ fingertips, giving a complete access to various apps & entertainment content.

The key features of the Smart TV include inbuilt internet connectivity that allows consumers to surf through the websites, watch video on demand, stay socially connected and play games on the app store. Also, AKAI claims that this "Smart TV will also offer the best in class panels for high performance, error-free resolution, reliability, colour scheme, durability, brightness and contrast for a totally redefining viewing experience."

The Smart TV has 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage, on -par with other similar Smart TVs available in the market. Other features in the Smart TV include inbuilt Wi-Fi, Smart TV features, a 4K display panel that delivers 16.7 Million colours, USB ports, Turbo Sound. The display is said to offer excellent viewing angles.

Commenting on the launch, Anurag Sharma, Director, AKAI India said, “India has the world’s third largest television market. As per the global trends, consumers are moving more towards the large screen TVs and companies keep on upgrading technology along with that there has been a visible change in purchasing power in India, with all these factors, consumers are able to change their TV sets every 4-5 years. We are extensively vouching on this trend across both Tier I and II cities and have kept a competitive price point wherein the consumers will be able to upgrade their TV viewing experience to a whole new level.

He further added, “With this launch, we have now all the models starting from 24-inch to 50-inch. We have also tried to capture growing urban population through our offerings in smart range. This has made us ready for the upcoming festival season where we expect good sales.”
