Idea Cellular, the country’s third largest telecom operator by subscribers, has recently introduced new voice rate cutter packs for its prepaid customers in Kerala circle. The new packs allow users to make unlimited Idea-to-Idea voice calls.
Idea Cellular’s new Rs 151 pack allows users to make unlimited Idea-to-Idea voice calls for seven days, while Rs 251 pack allows users to make Idea-to-Idea voice calls for twenty eight days.
The Rs 698 pack offers unlimited local and STD calls to any network for twenty eight days.
The Rs 99 pack offers 250 local or STD voice minutes to any network, while Rs 198 pack offers 550 local and STD voice minutes.
The telco has also rolled out voice and data offers for its Kerala users. It is offering 400 national voice minutes and 1 GB data for Rs 297. Similarly, the telco is offering 800 national minutes and 2G data usage at Rs 497.
Idea Cellular had earlier revised its 3G and 2G data packs rate to offer more benefits to consumers in the Kerala circle. The revised packs with extra data benefits were aimed at retaining existing users in the circle.
Under the new arrangement, Rs 46 pack 3G data pack offers 150 MB data usage, while Rs 69 3G data pack offers minimum 280 MB and maximum 1 GB of data for 15 days. The Rs 249 3G pack now gives 1.5 GB data usage for 28 days, whereas Rs 449 pack now gives 3.5 GB data usage. Similarly, the Rs 649 pack now gives 5.5 GB instead of 5GB data for 28 days.
The Rs 849 data pack, on other hand, now offers 7.5 GB data instead of 7GB for 28 days. The telco has also made a change in its Rs 36 2G data pack. The pack now offers 180 MB 2G data as compared to 120 MB data for 28 days.
