Sorry. This doesn’t have A10 processor which can do 2160p. Instead it has Ingenic JZ4770 Xburst processor.
]en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ingenic_Semiconductor
JZ4770 (1 GHz, ~250mW), includes: 1080p video decoding unit for H.264, VC-1 and VP8 (a secondary 500MHz MIPS processor with SIMD extension), 2D+3D GC860 Graphics core (licensed from Vivante) supporting OpenGL ES 2.0 and OpenVG 1.1

1.5 GHz processor, Mali 400 GPU.
Does the 1.5GHz include 400 GPU or is it additional??
It appears to be better than Funbook as it has a better battery of 3600 mAh.
I think its a good tablet.
Anil June 18, 2012 at 2:12 pm
Yes, the chinese A10 processor supports flash, dongles, google play/android market etc. They are calling the A10 a revolutionary processor because it delivers performance at a cheap price.
Just search for the “allwinner A10 processor” on the google.
Anil June 18, 2012 at 2:07 pm
Most 5000 range tablets in the market(wammy, funbook etc) come with the chinese developed A10 1.5ghz processor which is nothing but a package made of A8 1.2ghz cortex and 400mhz mali gpu which is able to run icecream 4.0.
The processor itself is sold very cheap(around $4 per piece) so the manufacturers should be able to make this tablet in the 2000-2500 range but they are still selling it more than 5000 rupees because they are importing the whole finished tablet from china and re-branding it with an indian name.
If an indian manufacturer can import parts and assemble the tablet in an indian factory then they can surely sell it for 2500 or so.
So guys, just wait till an indian company starts manufacturing these devices in india. Then the price will become more affordable plus support will be more reliable.
