Zylog Systems today announced the launch of its Wi5 Broadband services in Puducherry. As of now Zylog Wi5 has already established its presence in over 150 towns and cities across India.
Wi5 Broadband will offer various unlimited download internet plans starting from Rs.499 with speeds ranging from 256 kbps to 1Mbps.
The company retails network subscription to individual users on an advance rental basis. A wireless connection upto the customer’s home makes it absolutely hassle free.
The various plans available for the customers are

Zylog’s Wi5 Broadband service works by setting up Wi-Fi nodes on Towers at strategic locations that connect the individual subscribers wirelessly through CPEs (Customer Premise Equipments), enabling customers to stay connected with the world.

The Wi5.(Zylog system)tariff are equivalent to BSNL. BSNL gives 1 Landline extra for Broadband. The zylog remove the installation charges and reduce the tariff as they said it is wireless network.(what installation is needed for it?) High tariff for chennai customers alone. should reduce rate and remove installation charges

there prices are the same as that of bsnl… i think 1mbps plan is better… unlimited at 1mbps without fair usage policy…
computers should aim mass adoption of broadband service in india… for that reduction of charges heavily is required… seen a report today that india has total 9million 3g users now… indias total wireline broadband connection is still 11 million…
in this 9 million i hope atleast 4-5 million will be regular data users… now its a base… operators should aim more by reducing tariff rates…
