Zokk has partnered with Idea Cellular to offer personalized Stock Search and Subscription Service. Idea will initially launch this service in Punjab. Under the Stock Search and Subscription Service, Idea will provide the subscribers with updated stock market SMS alerts on their mobile, enabling them to keep an eye on their portfolio while on the move. Unlike other broadcast services, one can choose to be alerted on specific stocks.
To activate one has to send a text message act to 51234 and subscription charges are Rs. 30 per month, once activate subscribers will receive alerts on all business news, customized stock information, NSE & BSE conclusive information and the day’s top gainers and losers. With customized stocks, the user can choose to receive periodic information of up to three stocks.

Well, it was launched in Punjab not because Zook is only in Punjab; Zook in fact gives you answers to anything, anywhere. It so happened that the service was initiated when it was Spice in Punjab and it had only 2 circles. And of course other reasons followed, which VAS providers know. This is not the right forum for elaborating those.

Hi PRADIPTA85, Airtel has this service … called PORTFOLIO MANAGER, I recall receiving the details with bill insert around 9-12 months ago. Call 121 in case you wish to avail same… it woreks on GPRS (Airtel Live) connectivity and has a monthly charge of Rs 99 with unlimited use & no extra data charges.

Their mobile series code is 9093 (Customer Care 90930-12345) but what about MNC NDC codes?

JOSHUA keep in mind the fact operators do not manage VAS … they tie up with 3rd party content providers (in this case ZOKK). If ZOKK is only operational in PUNJAB what can IDEA do… as it is, IDEA is only operational in some of the 23 telecom circles!

see some operators prefer south and some north why don’t they provide at a stretch take in case of tata gsm south launch then all india in case of idea punjab why did they neglect other states ?
