Xolo Q1200 launched for Rs 13,999 with a lot of software tricks

Xolo, the premium manufacturer of budget smartphones has just launched a new device, the Q1200 for Rs 13,999 to take on the  Moto G which has taken the sub Rs 15,000 smartphone market by storm. It has been launched with a slew of software gimmicks such as gesture controls, voice controls, dual windows and double tap to wake-up which offer a decent amount of functionality too. Let us take a look at its specifications:

  • 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 chipset, Mali-400 MP2 GPU
  • 1GB RAM
  • Android 4.2 Jelly Bean which the company is promising to upgrade to Android 4.4 KitKat
  • 8GB of internal storage, MicroSD card slot (up to 32GB)
  • 8MP rear camera, Sony Exmor R sensor, a dual LED flash and a 2MP front camera
  • 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG

It had gone up for pre-odering last week and has just been launched officially. It will begin shipping from 10th of June. You can also get yourself a free football alongside the smartphone.
