vodafone-magicTelecom major Vodafone has launched a Windows-based mobile device in India at just Rs 9999. The handset includes a replacement warranty of 2 years, PUSH email facility and 2.5 QVGA colour display. The device is also equipped with a Camera and MP3 player.

With the Idea of capturing the elite mobile segment i.e. subscribers using Windows-based handsets mostly for official transactions and checking their mails at ease when out of office, this handset seems quite worthwhile for this class, rather the Camera and MP3 player keeping in hold the versatility of Phone.

    No 3G support.

    Yes no 3G support…it is very dissappointing from a operator like Vodafone…because India will soon at 3G age…so It is prior for all to be ready for this new tech..But I think Vodafone study the Indian situation very cleverly…they know our respected politicians & may be they are sure that India will not get 3G by private operators within few monthes or by few years….so they dont waste money for adding 3G feature to this phone…because if this phone was equiped with 3G then the cost of this phone may be much higher….But Vodafone try to give us a good & value for money phone within affordable price range & without 3G which does not make much difference to mass public….

    Micromax Q3 at 4K looks cheaper option than this.

    It has Nimbuzz messenger and Opera bundled with it! :)
