Vodafone To Introduce Social Networking & Messaging Services Over SMSVodafone will soon deliver social networking and messaging services over SMS and USSD platform to its subscribers across India.

Vodafone will be deploying the recently launched Myriad Updates, a first of its kind text based mobile social networking service accessible on low end phones, without requiring users to have a data plan.

Furthermore Vodafone will be rolling out Myriad’s complete portfolio of mobile messaging services, including SMS, instant messaging and mobile email.

    Only for 3G there is not such option for checking data usage balance.
    But for 2G u can use this code *131*98#

    Actually you can access how much data you have used by dialling *121# and selecting the third option of gprs data usage. For deactivating value added services use the 4th option of the menu which has appeared. You will get a prompt list of services which are active on your mobile.

    1) LACK OF TRANSPARENCY IN SERVICES.
    2) NON-AVAILABILITY OF CUSTOMER-FRIENDLY OFFERS
    3) TOO MUCH RELUCTANCY IN GIVING FULL TALKTIME OFFERS
    4) MOST UNEDUCATED & UNHELPFUL CUSTOMER CARE

    Vodafone must immediately put to use ussd codes for getting info for data usages for both 2g and 3g users, like they have in other operators.This is very much required for data users. Hope all users are facing this problem also!!

    ya for the same reason i quit vodafone and also it was deducting my balance and not telling it why my balance was deducted and i was blocked by customer care for calling customercare and all this was only in 30 days my 1st experience with vodafone was worst 30 days my 1st experience with vodafone was worst

    yes also all the packs including SMS and call tariffs should be accessible with USSD hope this will be done.
