Vodafone, India’s 2nd largest GSM Mobile service operator yesterday Redefine and simplified the One Paisa One Second plan for its prepaid mobile subscribers in Karnataka telecom circle.
Now Vodafone Prepaid Subscriber can able to make Local and STD calls to any phone, any network with in India at just One Paisa per Second earlier it was 1.2paisa per second for other network calls.
According to the Vodafone release; to avail the new tariff subscriber have to recharge with new Bonus Card (FRC) which is priced at Rs.66, this Recharge is bundled with a Free SIM card with life time validity. The pay per second tariff validity will be applicable just for one year from the date of recharge.
The existing Vodafone prepaid subscribers can also enjoy the one paisa per second tariff for any local and STD calls to any network with in India just by recharging with Bonus Card of Rs.64.Roaming and ISD call charges will remain unchanged and applicable as per the normal prepaid tariff plan.
K Sankara Narayanan, Chief Executive Officer- Karnataka, Vodafone Essar South Limited, stated that “this enhanced One Paisa one Second tariff offering is even simpler and more convenient as there is no differential rate for calls within or outside our network”.

Think you need to work out the maths for yourself buddy…66 rs per customer multiplyied by the number of customers (think u can get the count from this coai site)..this is the earnings for 12 months !!!
Now calculate the cost of running a telecom tower (thinks its about 40000 rs per month per tower…add to that cost of maintaining a distributor and retailer force..a dedicated outsoarced call center with charges between 2-7 rs per call….
once you finish with the maths let us know..who is taking “too” much money from whom!!

same is with Airtel Kolkata, they launch the RC 54 with 4 type of validity
1st it was for 30 days,2nd for 90 days,3rd for 180 days and now 4th for 365 days
customer who recharged with 90 days validity will not not get automatic extension of remaining 9 months when Airtel upgrades these RC

pehele 64 ke recharge par 1.2 paisa aur abhi 66 ke recharge par 1 paisa yane pehele customers sare 64 ka recharge karege aur 1.2 paisa payege fir ye Lootere vodafone wale dheere se 66 ka recharge nikalege 1 paise ke liye.. fek do apna vodafone ka sim mere dosto.. aur dikha do ye company ko ke kaise hum inki g**nd par laat maar sakte hai…

For a single customer 64 rs means.. calculate how much for the total customers….
